Computers and Web Pages

How I came to learn about computers

I first learned about computers in 1982 when my 6th grade classroom had a Apple IIe in it. Over the years, I've flirted with computers, but I really didn't begin to learn how to use them until I entered college in 1992. At that time I became an assistant at Dixon Word Processing Lab. I learned quite a lot about both Macintosh and IBM compatables by teaching other people how to use them to write papers and "surf" the internet. This experience crystalized in my mind the idea of persuing my masters in technology education. Recently, I accepted a position as Education Director for Alexander Consulting, a local computer consulting firm with a whole new approach.
